My name is Joseph Muto, and I am the Owner and Founder of JM Plumbing. I began my plumbing career at 18 years old, starting my union apprenticeship in 2003. After completing my apprenticeship, I earned my Ontario Certificate of Qualification as a licensed 306A plumber in 2008.

I built much of my early career in new-home construction, gaining hands-on experience through every stage of the plumbing process—from underground water-service installations and complete home rough-ins to fixture finishing, testing, and final completion.

My plumbing professional experience also includes coordinating plumbing work around builder schedules, supporting pre-delivery inspection requirements, and overseeing job sites as a plumbing foreman. In that role, I was responsible for organizing daily work, coordinating crews, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring installations met applicable standards and builder expectations.

Over the years, I expanded my experience into residential service, renovations, custom homes, and commercial and industrial plumbing. This broad background gives me a complete understanding of plumbing systems from the initial underground installation through to the final fixture and inspection.

I founded JM Plumbing in 2016 to provide homeowners and businesses with dependable plumbing services, honest advice, clear communication, and professional service. As an owner-operated company, I remain personally involved in each project and take pride in making sure the work is completed properly.
